In this month of the Holy Souls, Veterans Day must be more than just a day off. Catholics can do a great work of mercy by offering Masses, suffrages and indulgences for our veterans.
This year, let’s pray for the souls in Purgatory — that Christmas morning will find these souls joyful and triumphant, cradled in the arms of their Savior.
For souls in purgatory, their wills are basically good. They are saved. But they are not what they should be.
