Pope Francis encouraged Catholics to ask themselves if in the name of Jesus’ wounds, they are willing to open their arms to others, especially the wounded, so that no one is excluded from God’s mercy.

On the First Sunday of Lent, the Pope encourages the faithful to turn to Scripture in their spiritual struggles.
Ahead of Lent, the Holy Father ecouraged the faithul to ‘dare to do good, to risk in giving.’
The Pope pointed to the example of someone who chooses to spend time in prayer or serving others, instead of wasting time.
In his speech before the Angelus prayer, Pope Francis reflected on the message of St. John the Baptist.
‘To persevere is to remain constant in goodness,’ the Holy Father said at the Angelus.
The Pope prayed for people in Ukraine and all victims of war. He said that he was sorry to hear about the fighting in Armenia on the border with Azerbaijan and is praying for a ceasefire.
