The annual Communion and Liberation-sponsored event was inspired by the question posed by the Psalmist, ‘Who am I that you care for me?’
Organized by Communion and Liberation, this year's event includes Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop Borys Gudziak, Diane Foley, and a special tribute to Benedict XVI, among others.
In the words of Servant of God Father Luigi Giussani, the founder of Communion and Liberation, the Encounter exists to help people ‘live the real intensely.’
“We want to follow in St. Paul’s footsteps when he invites us to ‘test everything and retain what is good.'”
This year’s version of the annual Catholic event will be livestreamed via YouTube from Feb. 12-14.
The Catholic movement’s inspirational charism was on prominent display last month, at the annual 'New York Encounter' organized by its U.S. members.
