Michigan Priest Sentenced to Prison for Sexual Abuse of Second-Grader

The three were killed after a 43-year-old gunman opened fire on campus, injuring five others before apparently taking his own life.
The parish fears the school will be targeted, in the wake of the Michigan Supreme Court’s recent reinterpretation of state antidiscrimination laws to include sexual orientation and gender identity.

The report names 44 priests who ministered in Marquette who have been accused of abuse since the 1940s. Thirty-three of the 44 priests named in the report are known or presumed to be deceased.
COMMENTARY: Along with mandating abortion on demand, the state’s so-called ‘Reproductive Freedom for All’ initiative extends even further.
In an Oct. 10 letter, all seven of Michigan’s Catholic bishops highlight the wording of a proposal that will appear before voters Nov. 8. ‘Let us be clear: If Proposal 3 passes, there would be no real limits on abortion or sterilization procedures in Michigan, outside of an individual’s voluntary consent.’
